One of the great things about making espadrilles is that even if you are not very experienced, if you make a mistake, you can unstitch and start over as many times as you want. This is not the case when making other types of shoes due to the common use of glue, a messy process where you only get one chance to get it right.
Specifications about this sole: In Spain, this is the most commonly used and affordable espadrille sole there is. The sole is straight and will take the shape of your foot within a few weeks.
Finding the right size: Our soles are true to European size. If you want to make 100% sure you are getting the right size, measure the exact lenght of your foot and add roghly 1cm (0.4") to find the correct sole lenght you need.
What is the sole made of? The espadrille sole is made with jute, recycled cotton fibers and natural rubber from the aloe vera tree. No glue has been used in the making of this sole.
