Description
One of the great things about making espadrilles is that even if you are not very experienced, if you make a mistake, you can unstitch and start over as many times as you want. This is not the case when making other types of shoes due to the common use of glue, a messy process where you only get one chance to get it right.
Options: You have the option to add to your soles the insole and the cushion foam. The insole is perfectly cut to match the soles and is made of 100% cotton.
The double adhesive foam fixes in place the insole and adds great comfort to the soles.
Specifications about this sole: We have been using this sole to make our ballerina espadrilles collection for decades, it's a classic narrow sole ideal elegant canvas styles. Once you start wearing your espadrilles the width will expand quite a bit.
Finding the right size: Our soles are true to European size. If you want to make 100% sure you are getting the right size, measure the exact lenght of your foot and add roghly 1cm (0.4") to find the correct sole lenght you need.
What is the sole made of? The espadrille sole is made with jute, recycled cotton fibers and natural rubber.
Did you know? You can see on this picture the ballerina Gabrielle, Diego's wife, jumping in a parc in Montreal wearing espadrilles made with the ballerina soles.
